Being a female rider is an wonderful experience.
As a former bartender, I thought I met a lot of people, but now it is friendships in an amazing, eclectic, and most fortunate part of my life.
Riding, as you all know, is by itself, miles, hours, and days of a freedom. Riding with friends is that and more.
I do a lot of charity events, and I am proud to be a part of the biker community. Bikers come out in full force for a worthy cause, and have a lot of fun doing so. They will donate their time, money, and hearts for any and all in need.
I have had riders, male and female, spend hours wrapping presents for less fortunate children. They have ridden, wrapped, cooked, cleaned, delivered, decorated, bowled, gambled, given up time, money, and energy, doing these things and more, with smiles on their faces and in their hearts.
When asked to write about riding as a female, I chose to write what it is that I see in other riders, as this is what is in my heart. My reason being is that both are things unexplainable, unless you are a part of this world.
I can’t explain the way the world is right now, and I don’t intend to try. We all have our own opinions on those topics.
One thing I do know for sure is that I am proud to be an American, proud of our soldiers, vets, and those trying to make the world a better place one day, one dollar, one smile, and one helping hand at a time. I see this in our biker community, and am proud to be a part of it.
